Lindys Jan2018 Color Challenge

Hi Friends, 

  I am here with another project for Lindys monthly challenge for Jan2018. I took an used box and designed it to become a beautiful jewellery box. The whole box was primed with Prima WHITE HEAVY GESSO. I used some Prima stencil to have some background with the help of modeling paste.. Added some metal embellishment from Prima, Finnabair and some from my stash.. Glued them with Heavy gel medium. Covered evrything with gesso. once the gesso dried, I started playing with my Lindys stamp gang starburst spray.. I used COCOA BEAN COPPER, COWABUNGA COPPER, TAINTED LOVE TEAL, CARIBBEAN BLUE FLAT FABIOS and  HYDRANGEA BLUE.. I keep on using Lindys until I got the desired look.. Once it completly dried, I used Finnabair ART ALCHEMY acrylic paints sparks DRAGON S EYE , UNICORNS HAIR and DARK VELVET to show some depth to my colors.. lastly i added metallic wax from Art alchemy WHITE GOLD to highlight the raised areas.. finished it with some cute bling from my stash..

J for . . .

Hi Friends, 

Thats alphabet J for my husband James as a valentine day gift. He was thrilled and i was very pleased about it. Just want to share with you the techniques I used to bring this up.

I added a texture cloth for the back ground and also gesso with Finnabair BLACK GESSO ..  

Then i added some metal gears, metal flowers and some emblishments from my stash. I used the 3D GLOSS GEL from Finnabair to stick all the emblishments together. Afterwards I painted everything with a black gesso. Once it dried I used Lindys stamp gang starburst spray DARK CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE, COCOA BEAN COPPER, COWABUNGA COPPER and TAINTED LOVE TEAL. Final touch was done using Finnabairs art alchemy Rich Copper & Fire Ruby.  

My favourite colours from the lindys collections are the COWABUNGA COPPER and TAINTED LOVE TEAL.

Priceless Memories

Hi everyone its always good to watch our kids growing. Here i did another Mini Album to treasure my family memories. Its always priceless to us. I used Timholtz Distress ink to distress my pages, used lot of prima flowers , added some chipboard, laces and finally added some swirls to add shine to my album. Enjoy my work....
